Lexington, Kentucky’s BEYOND THE SHORE are preparing to embark on tour in support of War Of Ages. The tour will weave its way through the East Coast and Midwest throughout June and includes additional support from The Ongoing Concept.
BEYOND THE SHORE comments: “We’re excited to announce that after our ten-week run through February -April, we won’t be staying home long and will be right back at it for the month of June. Playing direct support for such a veteran band in War Of Ages for a month will be an amazing experience for us and we can’t wait to share it with all our fans and friends on the road!”

After their most recent tour, BEYOND THE SHORE, launched several videos: one chronicled some of their more entertaining tour stories, the other was a performance/lyric video for “Glass Houses.” Both of those are available in the playlist embedded on metalblade.com/beyondtheshore. Today, the band has posted a play through video of drummer Jonathan Pugh performing “#Dreamkiller” from Ghostwatcher.

BEYOND THE SHORE has received praise from press and fans alike with magazine heavyweights Alternative Press including the band in their AP Recommends feature and premiering the band’s production video for the track “Homewrecker,” which was met with such an overwhelming response that it was pushed to be the most shared and viewed video on the site during the week of the premiere. Outburn Magazine stated that, “far and away their greatest asset lies in the gorgeous fluid and emotive leads…conjuring plaintive tones that are steeped in melancholy over the top of the hammering attack, and in doing so imbuing them with greater emotional impact.” Praises from press didn’t stop in the US though, with major publications like Rock Sound Magazine (UK) asking, “Could this be a metalcore album from the future? It sounds like one…there’s heaps of melody in the guitar work, turning tracks like ‘Glass Houses’ and ‘Ghostwatcher’ into progressive epics without losing that hardcore intensity.” Additionally, Sunday Sport (UK) claimed that “Ghostwatcher may be the best thing to come out of Kentucky since fried chicken…This is metalcore at its absolute best.”
