Swedish black metallers DARK FUNERAL, who recently released their long-awaited new full-length Angelus Exuro Pro Eternus in the US on January 26 via Regain Records, are gearing up for a lengthy European tour with Zonaria, Carach Angren, Nefarium and Akercocke (in the UK only). Dubbed “A Declaration Of Hate – European Tour 2010,” the trek will cover 41 shows over 17 countries beginning in Valhall, Sweden on March 5th and closing in the band’s hometown of Stockholm on April 19th. Said guitarist Lord Ahriman, “We have prepared a killer set list. And I’m absolutely sure that it’ll please both old and new fans alike. Since it’s almost five years since we last toured Europe, we’ve planned our biggest production yet. Be prepared for a HELL of a show! Not only will this be the biggest production we have ever brought out on the road, it will also be the longest tour we’ve done since 2001 (Diabolis Interium) and we’re totally looking forward to it!”

Angelus Exuro Pro Eternus was recorded at Abyss Studios in Grangärde, Sweden with Peter Tägtgren (Pain, Hypocrisy) and is the band’s most technical and varied album to date. DARK FUNERAL, while remaining true to their roots, have taken a great step forward in the evolution of their brand of fine Swedish black metal.
