Revelation Records is now just over a week from releasing Low In The Dust, the debut LP from Southern California’s FELL TO LOW. Meshing noisy post-hardcore and angular indie rock influences, the young band bridges the courage of the pioneering acts of said musical scenes with modern sensibilities into a caustic yet calming and fully engaging delivery.
Less than a week after Low In The Dust hits the streets, FELL TO LOW will do the same, embarking on a two-week tour of North America’s West Coast in support of the album. Kicking off July 30th, the tour begins with five shows in California, then running through Oregon and Washington before crossing into Canada for three gigs in British Columbia, after which they will run back through Washington and then hit three more Californian cities, coming to a close August 14th at Berzerktown Fest in Santa Ana with Dawn of Humans, Iron Lung, Destruction Unit, Green Beret and more.
Noisey premiered FELL TO LOW‘s Low In The Dust with an early, exclusive stream of the album, issuing, “Low In The Dust is a six track burner that shows everything the band is capable of… Each song progresses on its own, but the entire record itself provides a sonic narrative that will crush and excite you.”

Revelation Records will release Low In The Dust next Friday, July 24th. Preorders for the album on black and colored wax including merch bundles are live at RevHQ HERE.
Influenced by the works of Unwound, June Of 44, Slint and similar underground heroes of the late 1990s, FELL TO LOW was formed in 2009 in the sleepy town of Ojai, California. Following the release of two successful 10″ EPs and two 7″ releases, Low In The Dust is the band’s debut full-length, and is a perfectly crafted record: every guitar note, every drum hit, every vocal howl has been painstakingly thought out and performed. Side A features four tracks that are at times heavy and technical, bringing to mind the more raucous moments of Drive Like Jehu with Side B featuring two tracks clocking in at over fourteen minutes each with a minimalist repetition made familiar by bands like Shellac. The record was mastered by Bob Weston of Shellac at Chicago Mastering to give it the perfect balance of cleanliness and grit, and is a testament to a band not willing to sacrifice quality over quantity in their output.
