MELTED SPACE To Support Sensory Records-Released The Great Lie Album On Major European Tour With Symphony X In February

Following the successful Autumn European tour with Leaves’ Eyes and Diabulus In Musica, MELTED SPACE — the ambitious French metal opera project created by composer Pierre Le Pape — is preparing for the latest round of major touring in support of their Sensory Records-released The Great Lie album, set to storm the European masses as direct support for Symphony X on The Underworld Europe Tour 2016 this February.

The tour will see MELTED SPACE performing material from The Great Lie, which was entirely written and conducted by Le Pape. An incredibly powerful, layered masterwork, the album features an intense storyline with a wide cast of characters performed by guest vocalists, including David Vincent (Morbid Angel), Attila Csihar (Sunn O))), Mayhem), Mikael Stanne (Dark Tranquillity), Arjen Lucassen (Ayreon), Ailyn Gimenéz (Sirenia), Kobi Fahri (Orphaned Land), Mariangela Demurtas (Tristania) and other vocalists, as well as music by an all-star cast of musicians and the entire City of Prague Philharmonic Orchestra.

The Underworld Europe Tour 2016 will see MELTED SPACE and Tunisian prog rock act Myrath supporting headliners Symphony X, the tour confirmed to run from February 12th through March 20th. MELTED SPACE has announced the live lineup for the trek, which will see Pierre Le Pape joined on stage by an array of vocalists and musicians, many of whom having played a part of The Great Lie‘s recording. The live lineup includes vocalists Clémentine Delauney, Lucie Blatrier, Guillaume Bideau, Black Messiah, and Manuel Munoz joining for the UK shows only, as well as Adrian Martinot on guitar, Mike Saccoman on drums, Brice Guillon on bass and conductor Pierre Le Pape himself handling keys.

The Great Lie has been championed by media outlets internationally, including major UK-based Classic Rock Magazine who called the record, “A triumph on every level,” and Powerplay who issued in a 9/10 review, “this is a prime example of how to make a metal opera work!” On the band’s home turf, Rock Hard France dubbed the record Album Of The Month, offering, “Impossible d’être exhaustif tant cet album regorge de petits détails savoureux, un véritable voyage!” And in North America, Sorrow Metal praised The Great Lie with a 10/10 review proclaiming, “To take the old paradigm and change it in such a significant and enlightening way is a feat in and of itself.
