BELLRINGER Issues Disorderly Video For Jettison LP’s “Cowboy Fight”

Austin-based BELLRINGER has just dispatched a disorderly new video – prime fodder to get your Friday going – for the track “Cowboy Fight,” which hails from the band’s recent LP, Jettison.

BELLRINGER is the provocative, fleshed-out embodiment of the music of founding guitarist/vocalist Mark Deutrom, formerly of The Melvins, Clown Alley, and more. The new Jettison album is a fathomlessly creative expedition into demented dimensions, exploring the back-alleys of psychedelic jazz/blues-infused rock with a buoyant acid-trip animation feel.

“Cowboy Fight” is now given an appropriately warped visual complement, as Deutrom’s wife Jennifer – lead visual propaganda administrator for BELLRINGER – creatively repurposes Russ Meyer’s mega-awesome Spaghetti-Western-gone-burlesque flick, Wild Gals Of The Naked West. Mr. Deutrom offers that the video is, “Existentialist musing on the pointless and transitory nature of mano-a-mano violence in a nostalgic and blood free setting packed with friendly caricatures and the usual cliches.”

Jettison is available digitally as well as on limited edition LP licensed through Rock Is Hell. Stateside orders can be placed HERE and European orders HERE.

BELLRINGER Live:
11/19/2016 Rudyard’s – Houston, TX
11/20/2016 D.B.A. – New Orleans, LA

Created as the live conduit for the music of Deutrom, who performed bass in the Melvins’ Prick/Stoner Witch/Stag/Honky-era, preceded by Clown Alley, was a touring member of Sunn O))) and others, BELLRINGER also embodies musicians James Flores, Aaron Lack, Monique Ortiz, and Brian Ramirez. The outfit’s Jettison LP was fully written and produced by Deutrom, the album recorded in Austin earlier this year. The six expansive tracks on this new auditory trip traverse an immense volume of genre territory with nearly forty minutes of action, fusing elements of psychedelic and exploratory rock with bluesy and jazzy jam elements, all coalescing in the signature Mark D style. Outer-cosmos radioactive dust cloud soundscapes go head-to-head with lush, organic, earthling grooves, while a quirky edge stimulates hallucinations of animated characters colonizing psychedelic parallel existences.
