Following their recent North American journey with Soilwork, Unearth, Darkness Divided, and labelmates Wovenwar, Motor City metal legion BATTLECROSS will close 2016 with their annual headlining run, the third installment of the Winter Warriors Tour, which rolls from November 25th through December 17th. This year, support will be provided by Metal Blade labelmates Allegaeon and Necromancing The Stone.
In conjunction with the Veterans Ticket Foundation, the Winter Warriors Tour once again offers free admission to members of the US Armed Forces, and the band will donate a portion of their proceeds to local veterans’ organizations in each city. Veterans are invited to register for free tickets at vettix.org.

BATTLECROSS will be touring in support of their latest album, Rise To Power, which landed on the Billboard charts at #103, marking the band’s second Billboard chart entry (2013’s War Of Will entered the charts at #130). Metal Injection wrote, “Where Rise To Power makes its biggest statement is in not just the voluminous collection of intellectually engaging, yet fist pumping, riffs – check out The Big Four-ish shuffle of ‘Scars,’ the spidery, single note up-tempo flash of ‘Absence’ and the dynamic blips in ‘Spoiled’ – but how the arrangements create a sense of forward motion that keep the above-mentioned songs cogently flowing and seeming shorter than their actual running time.” In a 4/5 rating New Noise concurred, “With a fantastic replay value and a high riff per second ratio, Rise To Power is sure to win over a lot of new fans for the band,” while Metal Wani, in a 9.5/10 score, lauded “an album where every member played their best and shone like diamond in the rough, and this diamond will only be more and more polished day by day.” To preview and purchase Rise To Power, visit: metalblade.com/battlecross.
