Seattle’s long-running supercharged punk outfit ZEKE embark on their North American tour supporting Weedeater early next week, supporting their recently-released Hellbender LP, their first new album in over fourteen years.
The tour begins this Monday, June 25th in Cincinnati, Ohio, and runs through July 29th, ending in Asheville, North Carolina. Additional support will be provided by Sierra, and Unsane will also join the bill on the three Texas shows, July 19th, 20th, and 21st.
Short, fast, loud, and to the fuckin’ point, Hellbender contains fifteen tracks laced with ZEKE‘s signature mix of hyperspeed thrash-punk and Motörhead possessed, hard as nails, rock n’ roll. Complete with raucous, in-your-face production by Jack Endino (Nirvana, High On Fire, The Accüsed), and finished with cover art by Hollis Tucker and Lee Goode, Hellbender is the culmination of a band twenty-five years into their career, sounding more aggressive, immediate and turbo-charged than ever before!
