Burning Desire To Draw Last Breath, the crushing new debut 7″ EP from San Jose-based brutal hardcore outfit GULCH, is out today.
Featuring members of Creator-Destructor labelmates Spinebreaker and other area acts, GULCH delivers a malicious style of metallic hardcore under the influence of brutal death metal. Spastic, crusty, gnarled, ridden with haunting noise, blasts and d-beats, and vocal gore, fans of metallic hardcore, death metal, and gore-strewn thrash will consume Burning Desire To Draw Last Breath.
Following its initial digital self-release, Creator-Destructor Records now presents the beast that is Burning Desire To Draw Last Breath on 7″ vinyl limited to 250 copies.

On Burning Desire To Draw Last Breath, GULCH delivers six tracks that will leave your jaw shattered on the floor on its initial impact. The EP’s world-crushing sound was captured at Panda Studios in January of 2018 by Charles Toshio Carver who then handled mixing as well. The tracks were mastered by Brad Boatright at Audiosiege, and the EP was completed with artwork by Boone Naka.
A band who performs live regularly, new GULCH live attacks are always being confirmed. The band has a three-day assault booked for mid-September with shows in Los Angeles, Bakersfield, and Phoenix with the likes of Judiciary, Woundvac, and others. Watch for live updates in the weeks ahead.
