New York rockers THE RESURRECTION SORROW have announced an upcoming lineup change to the unit. Drummer Louie Gasparro will be leaving the band this May to pursue personal interests. A statement from TRS this week states: “Louie gave his all on stage and on the road and has been crucial in lifting TRS off the ground and setting this behemoth in motion. Louie’s personal commitments has led to his decision to bow out.”
Mr. Gasparro’s replacement will be named at a later date. His last show with the band will be this May 15th in Brooklyn, when THE RESURRECTION SORROW unveil their recently completed comic book at a live show and all-out party, dubbed “Vrykolkas: The Unholy Release Party”. The comic — featuring art by Isaac Carey Nejako and cover art by Seldon Hunt — was written by TRS vocalist Alex Dementia. The comic will be available at this show, which will also feature live appearances by NYC rock legends Satancide, Panzie, and of course, THE RESURRECTION SORROW, as well as an aftershow party with burlesque rockers Bambi Killers, DJ’s all night and and more, all hosted by Royal Flush Magazine and Midnight Dreams Productions.
After recently completing the first leg of the planned three-part Unholy Divine Tour, the band plan on announcing the second segment of dates soon. In the meantime catch them live here:
