ANCIENT VVISDOM: BBC 1 To Air Live Performance; New Song Unveiled Via Terrorizer TV

Austin, Texas-based occult rockers ANCIENT VVISDOM recently wrapped up a European tour, which marked their first time back on the road since supporting Ghost on an uber successful national jaunt earlier this year. Commented singer/songwriter Nathan Opposition: “Our tour was a great experience! We did some amazing things including Inferno Fest and Roadburn, we hung out in Prague, did a BBC 1 recording session… it was fantastic! We also paid a visit to Stonehenge, which was awesome. Touristy, yes, but truly a rejuvenating, renewal of energy.”

ANCIENT VVISDOM will be spreading their diabolic sounds across the airwaves of the United Kingdom on the popular BBC Radio 1 “The Rock Show with Daniel P. Carter” with a live set recorded in the studio during their tour last month. The set airs today at THIS LOCATION.

In related news, ANCIENT VVISDOM was recently nominated for the “Best Underground Artist” category for this year’s Metal Hammer Golden Gods award. Voting is currently underway HERE for the ceremony, which takes place at London’s Indigo2 on June 11. In addition, the band recently appeared on Terrorizer TV, where they performed a brand new song entitled “Last Man on Earth,” which can be viewed HERE.

The band’s debut Prosthetic release, a reissue of “A Godlike Inferno,” is now available. The album — called “darkly charismatic” by Verbicide Magazine — features the band’s dark acoustic sound, while Nathan Opposition’s enticing lyrics give listeners a sense of sheer terror while maintaining catchy hooks that leave you begging for more. Along with the reissue, the band has also premiered the music video for the track “Children of the Wasteland” via Metal Injection, which can be viewed on their site.
