CARTILAGE: Bay Area Gore Crew Drops Guitar Playthrough And Announces April Tour With Unidad Trauma; Tales From The Entrails: A Necrology Out March 14th On Everlasting Spew Records

As San Francisco deathgrind quintet CARTILAGE prepares to drop their revolting Tales From The Entrails: A Necrology EP on Everlasting Spew Records this month, a dual-guitar playthrough of the track “Frothed Vomit Slosh” has been posted.

The dead may rest but the grind goes on. CARTILAGE is serving up another frenzied feast with Tales From The Entrails: A Necrology. The blastmasters took their studio operations to home base, enlisting Scott Evans (Kowloon Walled City, Ghoul, Thrice) for recording and mixing duties, while the genre’s perennial grindfather Leon del Muerte (Impaled, Exhumed, Nails) handled mastering, the record then completed with art by Jason V Roberts and photos by Kei Mowry.

The Bay Area gore titans continue to spill their guts across the land but with new tools in their trade: twisting harmonies and cinematic set-pieces now compliment CARTILAGE’s arsenal of blistering blasts, ripcord riffs, and deranged shrieks fans know to expect. Tales From The Entrails: A Necrology offers the biggest color palette on a CARTILAGE release to date. Now with even more shades of red.

Following the previously announced Pacific Northwest Tour March 27th through 30th, including sets at Northwest Massacre Fest and Disemboweled God Fest with Impaled, CARTILAGE has also announced their upcoming US/Mexico tour with Unidad Trauma – rescheduled from last year – which runs from April 11th through 24th.
