CULT OF LILITH will be touring in support of their debut full-length, Mara, released in 2020 via Metal Blade Records. A frantic collision of death metal, prog, complex classical structures, and more, Mara is a restless, constantly shifting collection that is as imaginative as it is compulsive. No Clean Singing crowned Mara, “one of the absolute best death metal albums of the entire year,” hailing the band’s seamless fusion of, “Soreption-like machine precision, Black Dahlia Murder-styled neoclassical melody, and Revocation’s tendency toward big, imperial, yet technical fusion-esque ideation.” Distorted Sound agreed noting, “Mara is a deeply-layered album that is rich in flavor, character, and a potency for sheer aural destruction.” Angry Metal Guy championed, “a talented bunch, with excellent performances all around,” noting, “The sheer amount of musical variety is highly entertaining, and the band is great at keeping you guessing.” Added Louder Sound, “CULT OF LILITH deserve credit for sculpting an exquisite piece of modern extremity, putting it in a straightjacket and detonating it with Acme dynamite.”
