Detroit progressive rock icons DISCIPLINE excitedly present their epic fifth studio full-length, Captives Of The Wine Dark Sea. The band’s first release through leading prog label, Laser’s Edge, is out today worldwide today on CD, LP, and all digital formats.

DISCIPLINE has performed and recorded together since 1987, and remains one of the top bands in the American progressive rock scene. Captured by veteran producer Terry Brown (Jimi Hendrix, The Eagles, Rush, Fate’s Warning, Voivod), DISCIPLINE‘s Captives Of The Wine Dark Sea flows with more than forty-five minutes of polished, theatrical, classic but modern progressive rock, and will reside amongst the year’s best releases of the genre.

DISCIPLINE‘s tour dates in support of the new album begin in August, including both US performances and European performances and festival sets. The band plays a show in Madrid, Spain on August 30th, followed by a solo show from vocalist Matthew Parmenter show in Rome, Italy the following evening. September 2nd sees the band playing at Novara, Italy’s 2Days Prog+1 Festival on September 2nd before returning stateside. DISCIPLINE also plays September 23rd as part of the NJ Proghouse Series in New Jersey with Galactic Cowboy Orchestra, and October sees the band playing in Ferndale, Michigan with Necromonkey, and taking part in Progtoberfest III in Chicago. Additional tour dates supporting the new album are to be expected.
