ELECTRIC FRANKENSTEIN: Reptilian Records To Release Reanimated Rock Covers LP For Halloween; Listen Up, Baby! LP Reissue Available Now + Japan Tour With Adolescents Begins Today

Reptilian Records has partnered with long-running New Jersey horror-themed punk/rock outfit ELECTRIC FRANKENSTEIN for several releases, including a series of limited reissued classics and a few unreleased nuggets.

Reanimated Rock is a new collection of electrified cover tunes from ELECTRIC FRANKENSTEIN. Whether exhumed from graves, rescued from obscurity, or simply revived, these classic rock, metal, and punk tracks are reanimated by the relentless rockers and collected in one place. The record features the band’s renditions of tracks from the likes of Alice Cooper, Ace Frehley, Black Sabbath, The Cars, Reagan Youth, The Dead Boys, and more. Recorded by different lineups of the band, the record features performances by rhythm guitarist Sal Canzonieri, original vocalist/lead guitarist Steve Miller, bassists Dan Canzonieri and Bill Gill, and drummers John Steele Gavula and Rob Sefcik.

Featuring cover art and layout by the one and only Coop, Reanimated Rock is available in two variants – Neon Pink w/ Yellow And Green Splatter, and Magenta/Hot Pink Mix – in runs of 500 copies each, all including a digital download format of your choice. Reanimated Rock is shipping early for Halloween; You’ll be doing the Monster Mosh and the fearful will scatter as you blast this limited shock-rock platter!

And available now is the reissue of the Listen Up, Baby! LP. Considered by many ELECTRIC FRANKENSTEIN aficionados to be the definitive statement from the band, Listen Up Baby! was out-of-print after the demise of Man’s Ruin records until TKO came along in 2003 and not only reissued the EP, but fleshed out the original six tracks to a full-length. Technically, the material was culled from the split disc the band did with the Hookers in 1998; it has the same songs in the same order as on the original EP. The disc marked a return to the fold for original vocalist Steve Miller, and this lent a renewed enthusiasm to the band’s usual, upbeat Ramones-meets-Heartbreakers-meets-Kiss couldn’t-have-originated-anywhere-but-New-York retro-punk…”

Featuring front cover art by Frank Kozik and new back cover designed by Jeremy Zombie, Listen Up, Baby! has here been remastered and pressed on limited edition colored vinyl, which includes an immediate digital download in your choice of formats. Reptilian is proud to bring this LP back to life after years of fans paying too much on eBay/Discogs!
