New Orleans rulers of the riff, EYEHATEGOD, will return to Australia for a short but riotous run of live devastation next year. Slated to commence on January 29th, the band will take over Perth, Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane. Speakers will be blown; souls will be broken; lives will be changed forever. A few months later, EYEHATEGOD will pillage their way through Tilburg, The Netherlands for the 2015 edition of Roadburn where they’ll punish ears with two sets of gristly Southern, hardcore blues debauchery on April 9th and 10th.
EYEHATEGOD is currently en route to Austin, Texas readying to monopolize Philip H. Anselmo’s Housecore Horror Film Festival this weekend. From there, the band will head west razing stages alongside Power Trip, Iron Reagan and Today Is The Day on select dates. See the updated itinerary below.

Over two and a half decades, EYEHATEGOD have helped define the NOLA sound: down-tuned, blues-inflected guitars awash in furious distortion, underpinning the demonic screams of Mike IX Williams over a thundering rhythm section. Though it was a long time between riffs, EYEHATEGOD reemerged stronger and more determined than ever before with their chart-topping, self-titled studio offering and first full-length in nearly fifteen years. Released in May via Housecore, Eyehategod personifies desperation and addiction in the various backwaters of forgotten America, punctuated by the N’awlins sound of rebellion and pollution resulting in triumph over adversity. Eyehategod is an exclamation mark on an already storied career, a statement of rebirth, catharsis, self-preservation and a sign of things to come.
“…a stomping and venomous set of eleven tracks that reignite the band’s amazing propensity for down-trodden, electric blues.” – Noisey
“…their most entertaining release since 1996’s Dopesick…urgent and raw, as if the band hasn’t aged a day.” – Consequence Of Sound
“To say that this album is ‘a triumphant return,’ or ‘the album we’ve all been waiting for’ are elephantine understatements. This album holds its own against some of the best of their canon and that alone makes it one of the best metal albums you’ll hear this year.” – Metal Insider
“There are brilliant riffs, moments of barely contained aural violence and, most memorably of all, the ever-distinctive vocals of Mike IX Williams… a worthy addition to the band’s already impenetrable legacy.” — Stereoboard
