NYC-area hardcore outfit FULL SCALE RIOT has issued a new single from their Eulogy Recordings-bound debut full-length, empower, through an exclusive stream of the track “Hope” courtesy of Metal Insider. In addition to being one of the most driving, gang-chant-fueled anthems on the entire record, the track closes out with a searing guitar solo courtesy of Soulfly’s Marc Rizzo, one of several high-profile guest musicians features on empower.
FULL SCALE RIOT vocalist BJ Allen proclaims of the track, “‘Hope’ is a song about humanity being made aware of the games being played in order to control us. The theme of the song in a nutshell is now that we know we’re being played; we must take action, united as one people.”

Eulogy Recordings will release empower on CD and digital formats on Black Friday, November 25th; preorder packages are available now at THIS LOCATION. The band will self-release a vinyl version in 2017.
FULL SCALE RIOT has booked a release show for empower in Secaucus on November 26th, with more widespread regional tour dates to be confirmed through the coming months.

With members of M.O.D., Rhythm Trip, Shat, and more in the band’s ranks, FULL SCALE RIOT follows up their Depopulation EP with the politically-motivated empower, delivering nearly a half-hour of their volatile punk/thrash-fueled hardcore. The album was recorded to 2″ tape at Trax East Recording Studio (Misfits, Turmoil, Hatebreed), engineered and co-produced by Eric Rachel with engineering assistance from Eric Kovortec, and shows massive new strengths in their songwriting and delivery. Void of senseless violence, the band perpetuates a very even-keeled and intellectual batch of socio-politically-fueled tracks, the music wrought with angst and the lyrics focusing on a more forward-thinking society.
empower features a widespread network of guests, including vocalists Jimmy Gestapo (Murphy’s Law), Tsarina Romanoff, and rapper Chris Rivers (son of the late great rapper Big Pun), and guitars by Marc Rizzo (Soulfly, Misfits) and and blues/rock/reggae/soul singer/multi-instrumentalist and activist Ben Harper.
