Neurot Recordings presents the label’s first release of 2025 with the debut from West Coast US-based quartet GUILTLESS – formed by members of A Storm Of Light, Intronaut, Generation Of Vipers, Battle Of Mice, and more – titled Teeth To Sky.
Born from a love of experimental rock, noise rock, early industrial, sludge metal, and doom, GUILTLESS unites drummer Billy Graves, guitarist Dan Hawkins, bassist Sacha Dunable, and guitarist/vocalist Josh Graham, who collectively herald the coming of a heavy music which looks both inwards and out to convey the encompassing mixture of hope, despair and determination which comes from observing life as we know it today.
GUILTLESS released their debut EP, Thorns, via Neurot Recordings in early 2024. Crushing and cheerless, it seemed to welcome the apocalypse looming on our collective horizon. Now, GUILTLESS will unveil their debut full-length album Teeth To Sky via Neurot, a record more pulverizing, focused, and introspective than what came before.
“The EP had a pretty narrow focus starting from my ideas,” Graham explains. “With this record, my main goal was to really collaborate with Sacha, Dan, and Billy because those guys are great songwriters. The new album is meant to open up the sonic palette and explore more territory.”
On Teeth To Sky, as Graham explains, the overarching theme is taking advantage of your life while you have it. It’s a crazy thing to really just be alive, floating through space on this little planet. The idea that Earth is already living well into its sixth extinction is an idea which has run through Graham’s work in particular for many years. Its wider acceptance into cultural conversations made the band want to look further afield, and to include elements of light on the album alongside humanity’s propensity for chaos which still colors the music.
Teeth To Sky was recorded remotely by the members of GUILTLESS except for the drums, which were recorded by Travis Kammeyer at Fahrenheit Studios in Johnson City, Tennessee. The album was mixed by Kurt Ballou at God City in Salem, Massachusetts (Converge, High On Fire, Old Man Gloom), mastered by Brad Boatright at Audiosiege in Portland, Oregon (Nails, The Armed, Locrian), and completed with artwork/visuals by Josh Graham.
GUILTLESS’ Teeth To Sky will be released digitally and on Ecomix Black Vinyl LP on March 7th. Stream the title track and shop preorder options via Neurot Recordings RIGHT HERE.

GUILTLESS will also make their debut live performances in support of the release of Teeth To Sky, having this week been announced as one of the acts confirmed to play the 2025 installment of Prepare The Ground. The event will take place at multiple venues across Toronto, Ontario, May 30th through June 1st, and GUILTLESS will share the stage with Baroness, Big | Brave, Coliseum, Khanate, Kylesa, Yob, and many others, including Neurot labelmates Harvestman, Steve Von Till, and Kowloon Walled City. Additional tour dates on both the East and West Coasts of North America are being booked surrounding the festival and will be announced over the weeks ahead.
