As Vancouver, British Colombia-based progressive/tech death metal outfit NECK OF THE WOODS prepares for the release of their debut album, The Passenger, through Basick Records in September an official video for the album’s “You’ll Always Look The Same To Me” has been premiered through MetalSucks.

A vibrant and aggressive video that fits with the track’s dynamic attack, the video for “You’ll Always Look The Same To Me” was directed and edited by Christopher Lennox-Aasen. Offers NECK OF THE WOODS on the song’s lyrical direction, which is displayed the video, “The struggle does not become you, it only makes you stronger.”

MetalSucks calls the new track, “their influences come from all over the prog metal spectrum (and beyond), and as such there really is no way to get any more specific. You’ll be tempted to compare them to Opeth, Between the Buried and Me, Soilwork and even Every Time I Die… and then there’s the guitar solo, which some straight up, epic Zakk Wylde shit. And that’s just on this one track from an album of nine.”
