“…a song with a merciless sort-of-hardcore stomp and a yell-along chorus that’s almost too infectious for any band with so much Autopsy influence.” – Invisible Oranges

Bay Area death cult NECROT — founded by current and former members of Acephalix, Vastum, Saviours, Watch Them Die, Atrament, Rude, and more — is preparing for the June release of their second LP, Blood Offerings, through Tankcrimes.

Advancing the putrid new album, Invisible Oranges has launched an assault on the public with an exclusive premiere of the LP’s lead track, “The Blade,” calling it, “a song with a merciless sort-of-hardcore stomp and a yell-along chorus that’s almost too infectious for any band with so much Autopsy influence.”

Spill the blood to NECROT’s “The Blade” only at Invisible Oranges RIGHT HERE.

The eight-tracks comprising NECROT‘s Blood Offerings were captured by Greg Wilkinson at Earhammer (Vastum, Graves At Sea), mastered by Brad Boatright at Audiosiege (Nails, Gatecreeper), the album completed with unholy cover art by Marald Van Haasteren (Bolt Thrower, Baroness).

Blood Offerings will see release on June 9th on CD, LP, and digitally via Tankcrimes, and on cassette through Sentient Ruin Laboratories. The limited vinyl edition comes as a foil-stamped, gatefold deluxe LP available in four color variants: 150 in purple splatter, 350 in gold splatter, 500 in black, and 1000 in gold. Wax preorders include an instant digital download of the band’s first single, “Empty Hands.”

Stream the previously-issued “Shadows And Light” at Decibel Magazine HERE, and “Empty Hands” with digital preorders HERE. Find physical preorders at THIS LOCATION.

Two weeks after the release of Blood Offerings, NECROT will embark on the month-long Make America Death Again Tour with Denmark-based death metal tyrants, Undergang, running from June 30th through July 29th. The band will also make their way to Europe this fall for a journey that will include stops at Bloodshed and Graveland Fests. Further details to be unveiled in the coming weeks.

Forged in 2011, NECROT unleashed the audio bone-crush of their The Labyrinth full-length in 2016 via Tankcrimes. Spewing forth eight tracks amassed from three hard-to-find and long out-of-print demo tapes, the record reaped critical acclaim from fans and media alike compelled by the band’s unrepentant Autopsy, Bolt Thrower, and Sacrilege worship. Decibel Magazine hailed NECROT‘s, “classic, bursting-at-the-seams, crawling-from-the-grave-still-decaying sound,” while Invisible Oranges wrote, “NECROT are as old-school death metal as old-school death metal gets. Their songs would have been welcome presences on early classics by Master, Bolt Thrower, and Autopsy and yet, NECROT has a punk rock soul that refuses to die.” Last Rites concurred noting, “Death by pitiless decimation is the principle mandate here.
