Reactivated New York death metal unit, SKINLESS, will level stages this Fall on a medley of live takeovers. The onstage debauchery includes performances in Montreal, Clifton Park, Boston, Brooklyn and Philadelphia as well as a co-headlining stint with Pig Destroyer on this year’s edition of Denver Black Sky in December. Additional onstage infiltrations are currently in their plotting stages.

Comments the band: “We’re stoked to have the opportunity to shred in some of our favorite cities! Time is tight for the good ol’ boys in SKINLESS but when the stars align, you can expect and old school night of extreme brutality. Very much looking forward to it; see ya soon.”

SKINLESS will be performing in support of their long-anticipated and critically-lauded Only The Ruthless Remain full-length, released via Relapse Records last month. Bedecked in the sadistic grooves and flawless musicianship for which the band has become notorious, Only The Ruthless Remain features SKINLESS‘ now-classic, late ’90s lineup of founding guitarist Noah Carpenter, vocalist Sherwood Webber, bassist Joe Keyser and drummer Bob Beaulac, with the addition of second guitarist, Dave Matthews, and marks the band’s first proper full-length offering in nearly a decade.

In related SKINLESS bulletins, the band is currently offering a free download of “Satan Is Living.” The song rears its menacing head during the credits of their ominous video for namesake track, “Skinless.” “Satan Is Living” is an original tune by the Sunshine Family Ministry and serves as an unofficial Only The Ruthless Remain bonus track. The Sunshine Family Ministry was a fanatical religious cult from the ’80s that committed mass suicide by skinning themselves alive… (fast forward thirty years to the gruesome “Skinless” video). The song “Satan Is Living” was recovered from an old reel-to reel recorder recovered at the scene. The first fifty orders made at the newly-launched SKINLESS webstore will receive a free download of the track as well as an Only The Ruthless Remain poster. Visit the store at THIS LOCATION.

And if you managed to miss the “Skinless” video, featuring a visual smorgasbord of lethal injections, human flaying and general group-inflicted suffering, it’s playing at THIS LOCATION.

Only The Ruthless Remain was tracked by Tom Case at Edie Road Studio and Doomsday Bunker Studio, both in upstate New York, with vocals tracked by Dave Otero (Cephalic Carnage, Primitive Man etc.) at Flatline Audio in Denver, Colorado, with the entire slab of audio violence mastered by Brad Boatright (Obituary, Nails, Integrity etc.) at Audiosiege in Portland, Oregon.

Only The Ruthless Remain is currently available on CD, LP and digitally via Relapse Records. Limited Relapse 25 Year Anniversary editions of the CD and LP are also be available. For order bundles, visit THIS LOCATION. Desirers of the digitals, go HERE.

“A rewarding record that scratches the most persistent of death metal itches… a lean, zero-flaws death metal dynamo.” — MetalSucks

“…one of the finest albums in SKINLESS’ repertoire…This isn’t just an album SKINLESS fans will lovingly embrace, but a creation that stands as one of the top offerings of 2015 within the death metal genre” — Apoch’s Metal Review

“With every crushing rhythm and breakneck riff, it’s as if SKINLESS never left, delivering everything you’d expect from the band… Only The Ruthless Remain is an exceptional, solid return from the very missed masters of death metal.” — Exclaim

“…just so fucking heavy.” — Heathen Harvest

“It is everything death metal originally set out to do, and it manages to incorporate a few elements to make it modern. No matter you’re familiarity with the genre, if there’s one death metal album you buy this year, consider Only The Ruthless Remain.” — Yell Magazine

“Though heavy and full of gore, this album oozes sorrow and anguish. A theme becoming more and more common in extreme metal and it’s a refreshing change of pace. The vocals hurt. The melodic solos weep. It sounds as if the drums are the one thing keeping a man alive…” — Glacially Musical
