Today marks the official unveiling of Love, the debut album from Dublin-born, London-based industrial noise pop trio TAYNE, out now on Inside Job/MNRK.

Soundtracked by a raging hybrid of metal, industrial, shoegaze, and pop, Love wrestles with the classic definition of the word, exploring how we navigate the clashes that emerge through its pursuit. With its ten tracks, TAYNE mastermind Matt Sutton documents his ideas of love as conflict, sacrifice, and compromise, how emotional attachment leads to clashes and how the repercussions can ripple down through generations. What does love cost? How far are we willing to go to chase it?

“The contrast of genres is interesting to me,” Sutton notes. “I still love extreme metal and heavy bands, but I think there’s something a little bit more exciting when you’re trying to create something that isn’t what everyone else is doing.”

Love features the tracks “Fear,” the band’s stadium anthem with a guest appearance from Rolo Tomassi’s James Spence, “In this Trend,” an industrial dancefloor stomper which wouldn’t sound amiss at the legendary Berlin nightclub Berghain, and “Wasted,” which finds TAYNE at their most aggressive, mechanical, and violent in the vein of Ministry or Fear Factory whilst attempting to find serenity in chaos. “‘Wasted’ is purely about lust,” says Sutton. “Getting caught up in those feelings, mistaking them for something else, and then undressing that to reveal the mess it has created.”

Love was co-produced by TAYNE and longtime collaborator Wayne Adams (Green Lung, Petbrick), one of a number of collaborations with artists as diverse as Jesu, Mastiff, Katie Kim, and Poisonous Birds. Additionally, TAYNE has supported the varied likes of HEALTH, Author & Punisher, and The Dillinger Escape Plan’s Greg Puciato.

“Industrial noise pop that’s both visceral and sensual, like finding true romance bumping bodies at 6:00am in a Berlin basement nightclub” – Kerrang’s The Sound Of 2025

“Taking their cues as much from Lady Gaga as they do Nine Inch Nails, TAYNE marry abrasive electronic beats and synths with a finely honed sense of melody, producing a tight, taut album that is greater than the sum of its parts.” – Metal Hammer

“The missing link between Gaga and Nine Inch Nails with a soupcon of Depeche Mode thrown in for very good measure, it fair rattles the bassbins.” – Hot Press Ireland, Hot For 25

“Fans of experimental dark music will get their money’s worth just as much as those of danceable industrial stompers, crude anti-pop numbers and uncomfortable noise rock.” – Legacy

“…a thrilling debut. TAYNE has a clear vision, even as they continue to refine their identity. The album’s energy, sonic depth, and emotional weight make for an exhilarating listen.” – GoldenPlec

“TAYNE walks a path of their own within this, and have forged an album that’s easily enjoyable, readily replayable, and surprisingly satisfying.” – Wonderbox Metal

“…a unique listening experience with deep emotional connection… that can sometimes lull the listener into a trance.” – Metal Digest

“…a tense amalgamation of contrasting styles, make no mistake, but they find a way to make it all come together in a way that is intriguing… and frankly just sounds pretty damn cool.” – Nine Circles

“…a very exhilarating and emotive release for those who like their beats a little edgier. Definitely one for fans of Nine Inch Nails and Crosses.” – Devolution UK
